What Mimi can make

• A shop favourite in your colours — usually the quickest and cheapest option.
• A plushie of a pet or a character, worked from your photos.
• Size changes — a jumbo version of something small, or a keychain-sized mini.
• Small sets and party favours, if there's enough lead time.

What she can't

• Copies of another maker's design or pattern, or licensed characters we don't have the rights to.
• Anything sold or presented as a safety-tested toy for babies or toddlers.
• Large wholesale runs — ask us and we'll talk about what's realistic.

How it works

1. Tell us the idea. Send a note through the contact form with as much detail as you have.
2. We'll reply with a quote and a timeline, usually within a couple of days, plus any questions.
3. You approve it and we send a payment link. Work starts once payment clears.
4. Mimi makes it, sends you a progress photo along the way, and posts it when it's ready.

Timing & cost

Custom pieces take longer than shop items — plan on two to four weeks from approval to shipping, and more during the holiday rush. If you have a hard deadline, say so in your first message and we'll tell you honestly whether it's doable.

Cost depends on size, detail and materials. As a rough guide, a custom piece runs a little above the nearest comparable item in the shop. TODO: confirm whether to publish starting price bands, e.g. "from $45".

What to include in your request

• What you'd like made, and roughly how big.
• Reference photos — pets, characters, colour swatches, a shop item you're riffing on.
• Your deadline, if you have one.
• Anything it needs to survive: a keyring, a bag charm clip, a stand.

Custom pieces are made specifically for you, so they can't be cancelled or refunded once work has started — see Returns & warranty. We'll confirm every detail with you in writing before that happens.
