Who we are

This site is operated by Noodlebots LLC, a limited liability company doing business as Threads by Mimi. "We", "us" and "our" mean Noodlebots LLC; "you" means you, the visitor or customer.

Using this site

You're welcome here. Please don't misuse the site — no attempts to break, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorised access to it, and no using it for anything unlawful. We may withdraw access if you do.

Orders & pricing

All prices are in US dollars. We try hard to keep prices, photos and availability accurate, but mistakes happen — if an item is listed at an obviously wrong price or turns out to be unavailable, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. Nothing on this site is an offer we can't withdraw; your order is accepted when we confirm it.

Payment is taken by Square on its own secure checkout page. By paying there, you also accept Square's terms. Shipping and sales tax are calculated at checkout based on your address.

Handmade goods

Every item is crocheted by hand, one at a time. Slight variation is normal and expected — size, stitch tension, and yarn dye lots differ a little between pieces, and your item may not be an exact pixel match for the photo. That's the nature of handmade, not a fault.

Safety & age guidance

By ordering, you confirm you've read this guidance and will supervise use accordingly. Our items are sold as decorative collectibles, not as tested children's toys.

Shipping & returns

Delivery timings and costs are set out in Shipping. All sales are final; lost and damaged parcels are covered as described in Returns & warranty. Those pages form part of these terms.

Our designs & photos

All product designs, patterns, photographs, illustrations, the puppy mascot and the Threads by Mimi name and marks are original works owned by Noodlebots LLC dba Threads by Mimi. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or use our images or designs for your own commercial purposes without our written permission.

Sharing a photo of a piece you bought, crediting the shop, is always welcome — that's not what this clause is about.

Pattern licence

Digital crochet patterns are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may make items from a pattern for yourself and as gifts. You may not resell, share, redistribute or republish the pattern file itself, and you may not use it for mass or factory production.

TODO: confirm with Mimi whether small-scale selling of finished items made from a pattern is permitted, and on what credit terms.

Limitation of liability

We stand behind our work, and nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our items are sold as decorative collectibles and are used at your own discretion.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be handled by the courts located there. TODO: confirm county for venue.
